Gerry Burtenshaw - Director and Treasurer
Gerry's involvement with development dates back to when he was 13. At that
time he purchased and assembled his first computer, a Sinclair ZX-81. In the 7
years since graduating from university, he has been developing large scale
windows software. During that time, he has worked for both Corel and IMSI. A
former Project Lead at both companies, he has worked on 5 different products
and has survived 9 release cycles, not to mention numerous service packs. His
longest tenure was with WordPerfect's spreedsheet application, QuattroPro,
which he managed for 4 years. Recently, in addition to having co-founded SPSC,
he has started his own consulting business. Since then, he has worked on the
Embassy of Paraguay website, and Simsave, a high performance enterprise product
for GSM phones.
